Hanaeleh Meets with Local Legislator on SAFE Act
Last week I met with Hannah Hess, a staffer for Mimi Walters. Mimi Walters is the representative for our area, and unfortunately, she is not a co-sponsor for HR 1942, the SAFE Act. I met Hess in Walter's office in Irvine. New Budget May Stop Slaughter Plants from Opening in U.S.
Over the past few months, six slaughter plants have requested authorization to start slaughtering horses in the U.S. Governor Fallin in Oklahoma, only last week signed a bill that would allow slaughterhouses in Oklahoma to open, even though the majority of her constituents are against horse slaughter.
