Please help find a home for two registered American Quarter horse geldings. They must go together. The horses are buddy sour- which means that if you try to take one away, the other will get very upset, and run around. They are fine as long as they are worked within sight of each other. Cindy Lou is a 22 year-old Paint mare who came to Hanaeleh in December of 2019. Although we have determined that Cindy Lou would not be a good candidate as a riding horse, she would be an excellent companion horse for someone who needs a beautiful paint mare. Hanaeleh was recently contacted by Shauna who runs Rising Strides because she needs help rehoming one of her horses, Grace. Grace has had two minor seizures, and while she is still rideable, there is a risk that she could have a seizure while under saddle. The seizures do not prevent her from having a full life otherwise.
