We took Ella and Raphael to their new retirement home in Ramona today. You can see by the pictures that the place is incredible, as are the owners! There are some times when we wish we could keep the horses we know we cannot rehome, keeping them safe and healthy. Then there are times when, no matter how much love or good intentions we may have, our facility just isn’t the best place for them.
Ella and Raphael have new horsie friends, a huge grass arena to wander around in, and people who will care for them and love them as we have loved them. We hope that they will be enjoying their new home for several years to come!
