We were contacted by Animal Control about this poor horse- the owner was given this horse about a year ago, but has not taken care of him. He is very underweight and according to AC needs his feet and teeth done.
AC says he is an older horse (about 20 or so), probably a Quarter Horse. The current owner has not tried to ride the horse, so there is no real way to know if he is sound or not. The vet who looked at the horse advised *against* euthanizing the horse, and said he only needed food and some basic care.
We will transport him if there is someone out there who would be willing to give this poor guy a chance! He is currently STILL WITH THE OWNER and not at AC, which means the sooner we can get him out of there, the better.
