A few months ago we were contacted by a woman who was looking to rehome her (she said) 13 year-old chestnut Quarter horse gelding. He sounded like the perfect gentleman, and she sent us pictures of him out on trail, trailering, standing at the rail, etc. She had named him Chestnut- she had named a chestnut horse, Chestnut (insert eyeroll here).
