Dulcinea Goes to Her New Home!

We took Dulcinea to her new home on Sunday! She got right into the trailer and was very calm during the entire ride. The vet is coming out this week and she will get her teeth floated as well. We picked up Dallas on Saturday afternoon- we are calling her Dulcinea while she is at Hanaeleh as everyone thinks that Dallas is a boy's name. Plus, Arabians believe that they are royalty, so we thought we would give her a princess' name (from Man of La Mancha). She is a very good girl- leads very nicely and hopped right into the trailer! Update: Thousand Oaks, CA: TB scheduled to be euthanized is SAFE!

We received word that the Thoroughbred in Thousand Oaks is safe!  He was scheduled to be euthanized because the owner could no longer afford him, but some wonderful people helped donate some money to keep his board up, and he is scheduled to go to his new home in Temecula on Thursday.
