This lovely boy needs a home very quickly or he will be put down. He is a paint stallion- he was rescued from the slaughter pen in Fallon, Nevada in 2010. The owners were told he was a 3 year-old gelding, but he turned out to be much younger- and a stallion. He is very gentle and is good around mares and plays well with geldings, but the owner of the facility does not want a stallion on the property, so he will be euthanized unless someone can take him.
This poor guy has been through a lot- he was starving before he was rescued, and he is deaf. He has come a long way and it seems a shame that after all that he has come through that he is in danger again.
He has had extensive ground work done with him and has been saddled but not ridden. He is very respectful of people. In December he pulled a muscle in his back while playing, and was lame, but the owner says he is walking well now. He is about 14.3-15 hands.
We are hoping that there is someone out there who wants a very attractive and sweet boy- someone who will geld him and finish his training.
