These two Mustangs need a home FAST! The owner can no longer care for them and is going to euthanize them (he threatened to sell them to a kill buyer as well). He doesn’t care where they go as long as they go, so we need to find them a safe place ASAP.
Both are BLM (2004) Mustangs, a stallion and a mare. The mare was bred several times by his now ex-wife, who trained the babies and sold them. Both horses at one time were able to be led, longed, haltered, feet done, etc. Owner does not work with the horses and so they have regressed. He has been feeding them, and they are at good weight. Neither horse have seen a vet or farrier for about four years.
These guys need someone familiar with Mustangs to retrain them, and geld the stallion. The horses do not have to go together, but they need to get out.
Please contact me directly as I don’t want anyone calling and harassing the owner as he may just call up the killer buyer directly to come and take them. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!
