Sunday this Saturday, you say?
Well, yes- the annual BIG SUNDAY volunteer day will be held out at Hanaeleh this Saturday, May 4th, from 9am-12pm. We will have several projects for these wonderful people to do, including spreading bark, painting, etc. It will help keep Hanaeleh beautiful and safe! 🙂
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone to come out to help- even if you are not officially signed up as a Big Sunday participant, you are still welcome! The more people we have, the more we can get done in a shorter amount of time! It is supposed to be warm, but please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes- it’s dangerous in the hills. 🙂 Obviously, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are recommended. We’ll have some gloves, but you may want to bring your own if you have them.
We will still need to work with the horses on Saturday, so if you are one of our regular volunteers, please do still plan on coming out.
