Arabian horses in need (Riverside County, CA)

I’m writing because you care about Arabian horses.  I have been contacted by Animal Services about a lot of Arabian horses looking for homes suddenly. 

 

First, AS Officer Leslie Huennekens, 951-791-2748, [email protected] sez she’s about to seize 40 Arabians, all social, who’ve been neglected.  Contact her for more info.

 

Second, she forwarded an email from Ann Cowing Martin, [email protected]  714-749-5412, in Winchestesr, CA who has 7 purebred arabian horses, with registration papers (except the Stallion), all healthy, due for worming and trims, “fed this morning (no feed available for tonight). Owner fallen on hard times, has owned horses for 14 years:

One Echo Purebred Polish Arabian Stallion, 3 yrs (sire sold for $1 mil)
One imported PB Polish Arabian mare, 10 yrs
One PB Polish Abrian filly, 3 yrs
One PB CMK Arabian filly, 4 yrs
One CHK Arabian Mare, 20 yrs
One QH Mare, 15 yrs, London Town breed  (trail rides)
One 1/2 QH, 1/2 Arabian Mare, 16.

All people friendly. The filles “would be perfect for a child” The older mares are broke; all horses halter broke.  The CMK filly has shown. Three horses are sweepstakes nominated. .
